Here is the help booklet to assist with the different stages of your Internal Assessment. Please download if you have miss placed your own copy. Please also find a blank copy of the data collection booklet, useful for use in the methodology section.

EXEMPLAR MATERIALS

Below is an exemplar material for the internal assessment. I have also included the moderators comments so that you can see what the student did well and what they needed to improve upon. Hopefully this gives you a good idea on the layout, formal requirements of the IA.


Here is a table to show the marks available for each section & the suggested word count.

Are the findings of the natural sciences as reliable as those of the human sciences?


To what extent might it be true that geography combines the methods of human and natural sciences?


While some aspects of geography can be measured, others cannot. Is this the case in your IA? What is it about a quality that means it cannot be quantified?
